Fixed Radars..hidden soon ?

PoLe Figaro published an article about the polemic of a possible removal of the panels indicating the presence of radars on the roads. The french minister Alain Juppé said that nothing was decided but the magazine Auto Plus doesn't agree. According to them, it has been already decided and this, because of the increase of %8 of the number of deaths on traffic accidents in april, compared to the some month in 2006.

For the moment all fixed radars are preceded by a warning sign. But it can change any minute. Note that there are 2 types of speed camera detectors in France :
- Real radar detectors, forbidden by law in France.
- Radar warning systems, using a database of the location of the speed cameras coupled with a GPS. Allowed in France.

If speed cameras get hidden, then we just ask if radar warning systems will be also forbidden ? We have to wait and see.
