TomTom/TeleAtlas: Canalys point of view

We are back from Barcelona, where Canalys was holding its annual forum on GPS. Obviously, one of the hottest topic was about TomTom acquiring TeleAtlas. Does the deal make sense ? What will TeleAtlas' clients do ? Will Navteq be swallowed ? By whom ? Microsoft ? Google ? Garmin ?
