Have you heard about Mapufacture ? It's is a very cool service (annonced last year by Mikel Maron) to browse, build and share interactive web maps. It combines user-created geodata with freely available worldwide satellite and mapping imagery, and location databases. In other words, it provides a nice, simple, graphical interface for defining your “area of interest” by zooming in on a GoogleMap. After selecting your area, and creating the map name and description, you can add feeds to the map. Ex, Le Monde News :
