La constellation de satellites GPS sur Google Earth

Gpsgoogleearth Télécharger ce fichier KML  (gps_on_google_earth) qui insère dans Google Earth la constellation GPS en live.


Pour chaque satellite, on peut visualier son cone de couverture, le cercle limite de non couverture sur terre et un max d'information techniques. C'est impressionnant et splendide, mais sans trop d'intérêt. Ce travail est réalisé par Paul Seabury qui l'a déposé sur la communauté Google Earth.

Pour les passionnés, il est possible de comparer ces informations à celles publiées par la Nasa : ici.


Cocorico On se met alors à réver à ce que sera la représentation 3D de la constellation Galileo sur le Geoportail IGN, avec recherche de satellite via le search Quaero.
